Due to some extreme flooding here this summer I maybe cancelling my trip, we have 15 homes or so to put back together so that our clients have heat for the fall or can get back in their homes.

I'm planning a trip to South Africa this October, I will be hiring a bike and plan to ride for three weeks. It's possible that I may be coming alone and would appreciate any advice or knowledge that would assist me if I'm traveling alone, mainly around theft, bike security while going for a walk...
