Learned a lesson yesterday.  When a guy on a 530 KTM tell you it gets a bit technical and you are on a 800GS you should get the hint.  :biggrin: Thanks for your patience and the help getting me out of there.  Enjoyed it in spite of everything ..... OK most of it in any case  ;)

We did Bezuidenhouts over the weekend.  Not a novice ride, especially on a big bike such as a GSA. General condition of he pass: Once you get past this step the rest is OK: An alternative wich is not to difficult (in the dry) is the old van Reenens pass.
