Sorry for the late reply.  I used my GS911 to change my 1200Adv Air cooled and my R9T to km/l.  I'm sure it will work on the LC too.

Oh, and I just set the consumption on the R9T and GSA to km/l .... much better ... so there's another thing you can request.  Also bikes with tyre pressure monitor can be set to bar/psi/kpa

Ja nee manne.  Die BMW Stealeships sien my ook nie weer vinnig nie.  Het my R9T by Zambesi gehad vir 20k diens.  Normale diens, geen rem skoene, net olie en olie filter vervang.  Hulle gesê om die lug filter te los want ek het 'n BMC filter wat ek self elke +-5k doen. Die som totaal? R2800 odd. ...

Got a copy at home.  PM me if you want it.  In my opinion the book is a bit over hyped and over rated, but still makes for a fairly okay 3 or 4 reads ;)

In my opinion, the question that has to be asked:  What will you use the bike for most? If you will commute on it regularly, look at the GS. If it will be used more for touring and fun, still look at the GS, but also look at the GSA. I've owned both, but since moving back to SA, I commuted on...

I had the TAs on my GSA 2010.  Really awesome road tyre but a bit iffy on dirt. Mileage was good ... about 18k on a rear.  Having said that, I liked the TKC80s on the 2010 GSA but I really don't like them much on the LC.  ???
