What front tyres do you guys prefer for 70/30 off-road/on-road? I am looking at: - MT21 -D606 -D908RR Last resort is a Mitas C-17D  or TKC80. For the rear I am set on Mitas E-09D, untill I get a narrower rim than I will switch to D908RR. on the rear.

Have a look at a Mitas C-17 Dakar front and C-02 Stoneking rear tyres, I really like them in all kinds of terrain. Though I can't say how they handle in desert sand as I don't have any to try them out :D

My friend with 620Adv and me with 640 Enduro are using 15/44 for mixed riding, from road to technical, it is a good compromise, but don't expect high top speed.

Hey Dakar... Anything happening in rally build of your KLE??

Front and rear pads are not the same! Below you can see the picture of available brake pads for KLE form EBC UK. As far as I know there are no sintered rear pads available for KLE. But if you are using you KLE off-road the sintered rear would be to aggressive and would lock the wheel up instantly.

My tyre choices for KLE: - On-Road: Metzeler Tourance - On/Off Road (around 50/50): Heidenau K60 - Off-Road (or up to 70/30): Mitas C-17 front and E-09 rear Here are a few pics of the last combo on my KLE!
