It is the 2 x racks that bolt to the frame + the SW plate. I'll see if I can add photo....Resizing is the issue.

Hyde = no good. Wind catch helmet on the peak and cause more buffeting than no screen at all, or standing.( I'm 1,77m. )

I have the Hyde screen - same shit. Buffeting and the wind catches the helmet right on the peak. I changed to a Shark helmet with internal sunvisor. But the wind still hits the helmet and cause a lot of noise. I also think a shorter screen would help to throw the wind on the level of my...

Interessant om te weet: Aprillia het in hulle Pegaso dieselfde 650 Rotax engine as BMW gebruik, maar net met 'n 5-valve top. Nou gebruik hulle nie meer Rotax nie, maar die Yamaha 660 engine.

PIRELLI Scorpion MT60, selfs MT90. Probeer asb. die MT60's na 'n stel Trailwings, en laat ons weet. En se vir my dankie vir die goeie raad... Daar is verseker nog ander beter bande, maar my ondervinding is beperk tot dit waarmee ek al gery het. Ek verkies ook die MT60's bo die Metzeller...

Don't know about the KLR, but a DR650 is more noob- and shorty friendly than the XT. Mostly because of the lower seat and lower weight and gentler power delivery. BMW's  X Country is also a lekker bike to start with.
