Just yesterday ... rode some colleagues' F800GS, and a brand new Tiger 800 XC, and we got chatting about service/maintenance costs . . . Nice bikes and all, but no thank you!!

Soooo . . . I've been test riding a couple of bikes over the last 2 years ... on the odd occasion ... from BMW F800GS's (more than once!), to the 'new' Triumph Tiger 800XC, even a BMW R1200GS (older model - '08), even more recently a BMW 650 Sertao ('Dakar') . . . and even for "good" [odd one...

Hoe laat jy die bek nou sommer so op 'n Sondag aand water van lus vir so 'n rit Dorsland. Dankie man. Het dit nou geniet.  :thumleft:

TG ... at a loss for words ... I've shopped ALL OVER, and when I say ALL OVER, one cannot begin to imagine how I've driven and test ridden every possible bike I could imagine owning . . . The only thing I can say now - I'm convinced, and completely sold on a 690 R ... Come April/May this year...

Any chance we can have an exclusive F800GS "Ride Reports" category here too, please?  :mwink:
