The visors screws are flush, the peaks screws are not. All DS helmets come with plastic for the peak - this is not a cost saving exercise. Yes the peak breaks off, but its the screws that are the issue. And yes you must toss the helmet after impact, but that's not the issue. What happens in that...

There is a reason the peaks are attached with plastic screws and not alloy like the visor - SAFETY! In an accident you don't want these screws to catch on something and rip the helmet. Sure the peak will break, but the screws can do the damage. This is a really bad idea to change the screws...
