Have been plotting this ride for the last month or so. The idea is to do a casual start to the year tour. It will be 50% d road/ 50% tar. Currently no back up vehicle/ caddy.
The stay over points are:
Zulu Falls Lodge ( Weenen) - self catering - take our own for first night
Amphitheater...
Our Awesome festival is coming up next Saturday, some really generous give away lucky draw prizes to be won... Join in or watch the Adventure bike "slow race" or the Tyre toss and watch the Outriders Juniors showcase their level one training skills. Not to mention all the awesome show specials...

The hospitallly overall in Rhodes was great and thanks to Henriette (from the Rhodes brewery) for the invite...

At long last I am able to say thank you to Butch, our hosts the Bee Hive, and the trail bosses that made the Bash all happen. It was an awsum weekend and good to meet and greet.......

Having gathered the late sleepers at around mid day we headed towards Coffee Bay. Some feeling strong and others just not feeling :eek7:
We reached Coffee Bay around 4 pm and already there was anxiety at getting back to our homes in a days ride +- 500km. The accommodation was a little tight but...
and so the very quiet evening began......and boy did it change into a festive evening. We all went to bed at ten pm and some of us chose to sleep in a little in the morning because they were tired :peepwall:............
Whilst some slept in in the morning the youngsters like Kingsley and myself...

We got to Lusikisiki and scuttled through the tatty town and got onto the 70 Km run to Port St Johns....for Thorsten and myself towards the last 30 Km's the twisties really got us in the zone...I swear those have got to be some of the best twisties in the land....and...
