Thanks for your input but the cc indicator light flickers and once it starts you cannot stop it by switching the cc on and off, you need to stop the bike and turn it off, then it seems to reset somehow.

That is a respectable mileage she has on that bike, I'm seriously considering trading my S10 to get myself a FJR1300. About the service, is there not a reputable Yamaha dealer near you that you could approach? Been in the power product sales and spares I have noticed a sharp increase in spares...

I yet to see a decent comparison between the AT and the S10. As far as l can see is the AT is lower & narrower. It has a 19" front wheel and a slightly smaller power plant. Both engine designs are much the same. I have a S10 which I've had since 2010, 40+k on the clock. I have no regrets and...

I also could not find the stand adaptor, so I had a stainless steel plate slightly bigger than the foot piece welded on. Works perfectly and was a lot less expensive.

Thanks to all that were interested in my XR but she has found her new home. I hope you have many happy and safe memories with her.

You can get a bigger U bolt from a hardware store and then just drill the mount slightly bigger. It worked for me.

0012 If you go back to Pietas comment on the 08th December there is a link to Sutton Cycle Works. Follow the link and you'll see there is a thermostat available. I personally don't think it would be necessary.
