Howsit Dogs, I will be back in CPT end of April for a couple weeks RnR and would like to have my Dakar serviced before then. I would like to avoid taking it to BMW if possible. When I left CPT end of 2012, Shane was the Dakar man and working for Yamaha at the time, is he still there? Or who...

Spoke to Neil a couple days ago, he says he fiddled with something and replaced something else, cant remember the details now but apparently the bike is running perfect now and rearing to go! Thanks for all the advice guys  :ricky: 

Why not a dakar?

Bumping this thread up because this bike needs to get ridden! Am I correct in saying that the general consensus would be that it is most likely faulty jets or a carb issue? What are the options? New Carb? Appointment with Julian on his Dyno?

Can somebody please buy this bike and take us all out of our misery? I'm getting more and more frustrated that I'm sitting half way across the world and not in SA where I could have bought this bike!  :dousing:

I am doing a lot of envious lurking in the backgroud of this threat! Cannot wait to get involved once home. Loaks did you survive Melkbos? I took my Dakar around the enduro loop there once... ONCE... On a hot day in December. After Crossed-up warned me not to  :peepwall:
