    KLR rotor puller problem

I tried to replace my doohickey last night and hit a BIG snag. Rotor bolt came out relatively easy. However, lifting the rotor with the puller turned out to be a problem. The rotor just didn't want to break free; now I have an even bigger problem - the thread on either the rotor puller or the...

    My ticket was up

So it was my turn to be taken out. This morning at 7, stopped at a pedestrian crossing (she was already halfway through the crossing.) So she smiled and waved thanks and the next minute her eyes grew the size of saucers. So I check my mirror and all I see is a girl's face with a cellphone...

    KLR Repairs Continue...

I finally got the time to fit the new clutch lever and put everything back again. First problem: the one fuel tank bolt is stripped. I screwed it down, and then wanted to remove it again as I was having trouble getting hold of the breather hose to put it back - screw didn't want to come out...

    KLR Handlebar

I need to replace the handlebar on my KLR. Rather than going for a std replacement, I want to use either the Renthal or ProTaper. It looks like I should go for the ProTaper Hi-rise ATV SE (for 7/8"). Anyone have any opinions to share? Shark - you mentioned you know where I can get the bars...

Starting after the age of 30

Hi all, Being new to the forum I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm new to biking, got my learners in Feb and bought my new bike a week ago - KLR650. I'm still a bit wobbly on it and still riding it only when traffic is low. But I'm getting there! I chose the KLR as I'm used to the 4x4...
