Those crash bars does take a lot of the punch! About 2 years ago I also had a drop and only broke the indicator and some scratches to the bars. Those are easy to polish and paint.... Hope you heal quick.

Ok, I havent been active on the site for some time as Ive been in Africa. However, I am back in trusty SA and modifying the old lady again. So I added some flush mounted indicators after clipping the font indicator in traffic this weekend. This is when I noticed that the new ones (12V, 6W)...

You guys are awakeing the boy in me lol - i would love to put my DL1000 on its back wheel, but safely... Either someone has to build a wheely machine or I have to find one that is working to try this out. Once one has mastered the balance point on the wheely machine you should be able to do it...

Thanks Heddles for the good advice, now the big question - who has a wheely simulator in the JHB area? I would LOVE to go spend some time on one! I would pay for that privilage!  :deal:
