2009 model 51000kms. did wheel bearings..rear at 40000kms front at 50000kms cam tensioner at 30000kms plugs, sprockets, brake pads..normal maint. stuff still pulling like a train :ricky:

+1 David Played with various viscocities..Castrol full synthetic 10w50 worked great as far as tensioner noise goes, stopped it completely. But when the oil heats up the engine sounded like a cement mixer. Best oil vis. i found was the recommended BMW 15W40..startup noise is there but once hot...

So.. hoeveel velle are we talking, 2013 price??

+1 Rigalo Not the valve clearance causing this noise..f8 motors do 70k +km before valves go out of spec Farking irritating noise tho..def the timing chain. Replaced my tensioner to no afail. 43k km on the clock. Only does it at startup for 2 / 3 secs. Had her at the dealer..word is, ride the...

Guys, sold my Dakkie a while back and still have these spares on the shelf: Fuel pressure regulator/ filter ( perfect cond. fault was traced to plug lead  :( ) Grips - new non heated version water pump and seals - still sealed -long trip spares. Open to offers, would prefer to let go to one...
