Not always working.  My wife had a puncture slightly off the side of the tread and the above procedure did not plug the hole.!!! The 'Gunk' is working providing it get to the 'hole'.  First step is to pump up the tyre to locate the hole.  If it is on the side (off the centre of the tread) tilt...
