Thanks , did see something on youtube to make one, will give it a try. Is the uneven idling due to the low idling rpm ?

Would this procedure help if it idles unevenly ? Mine idles under a 1000 rpm and I read somewhere it must be around 1100 rpm. I also have a pinging noise if I ride it cold, never had it in the summer, I tried putting in 95 but did not help for the pinging. I have the ADV single spark. Thanx

There are two little screws at the back where the wire comes in, tried to pull it out but it wouldn't budge. The front guard comes off but the lens is stuck as well. I don't want to pry anything as I have a tendency to break stuff. Thought there might be a special way to open it. Did not find...

Use old brake fluid or ovencleaner, it wil not harm the plastic. Might take a bit longer than acetone. Good luck
