Standard saddle is crap, spend the money on a KTM Powerparts saddle, world of difference. I did JHB to Augrabies Falls in one hit, 2 up, no problem. Heated as well, not really necessary in SA, but it's there.

I had one off the first batch that landed in SA, did 53000km before I sold it before emigrating, no issues. Service costs are crazy, especially the 30k, 60k etc, eye watering, but, if you can do a lot of the work yourself, as I could, quite labour intensive, I sent it to a dealer fully stripped...
