    Story of my 701...lets go!

damn thats chunky!! But I would be concerned if its that strong that it wont break your casing or the shaft it attaches to. I have been very lucky to always just be able to bend my levers back. But will be looking into it, it looks nice. Havent read anything yet on O2 removal, got some...

The not-so-handy handyman and other randomness

Every time I check in here I am motivated to DIY all over again. Re the base for the braai, you should try to get mentis grating or some such. And drill a lot of holes in the bottom to get the air to come through. Otherwise the heat will struggle same as braaing on concrete. I got some old...

I saw those, thought its just a standard brake lever. whats wrong with the stock brake lever? the sprocket guard I put a bit lower on the priorities list. we generally dont see a lot of mud here, rather sand.

    Story of my 701...lets go!

they look great. They will also be able to take my enduristan bags I have. I dont like the idea of rackless luggage but mostly because I know there will be hard falls without luggage. I did contact them but they were not sure if the racks will fit a 2021. The rear tank or something was changed...

    Story of my 701...lets go!

Back to the 701 So I would like to do some trips, and that will require two things. I need to mount luggage and I need extra fuel. I think short term I am just going to get a fuel bladder and put that on the rear. The luggage is a bit more difficult though. I need some help, I dont think...

    Namibia Trip Advice.

we did a two week trip through Nam with the Landy, was great. get to Luderitz, up to walvisbaai/Sesfontein and hard ride back via windhoek highway again. Ai Ais is great for a normal weekend, being south of Nam, so skip it. This way you can hit the nicest spots, Kolmanskop, Solitaire and the...
