    Advice needed after hibernation

Hi All For reasons unbeknown to me my bike has stood in the garage for the last 7 months. Plan to bring it to life tomorrow but not sure if I should maybe drain oil/fuel and replace before I do so. Went in for a service about a month before hibernation. Any advice? Thanks

    Weld or Replace

Thanks Gypsybaron. Also thought about fixing backplate underneath mudguard and try and find rivets that sort of match colour, and leave it as a battle scar. Which place in SA is best for 2nd hand parts, ACME salvage?

    Weld or Replace

Hi All Plastic weld will probably be the cheapest option but not sure on how good it would look and how long it will last. I am leaning towards replacing with 2nd hand one but might take quite a while. Any advice?

    Gear change while stationary

Hi All I find it becomes increasingly more difficult to change gears while stationary. I have to either downgear while bike is still in motion or otherwise have to almost engage the clutch to be able to change gears.
