6000km later and still enjoying it all the way. Did Rallye Raid in May and didn't feel like i missed the 990. The power, fuel consumption and new technologies make it a much better bike for my purpose. I have not had any issues

Tell me about it. Very expensive test ride. You always watch and read reviews about how powerful the bike is, but damn when you feel it for yourself it is mind blowing. But power aside, everything else just feels so much smoother, refined and effortless. We will now wait to hear what the banks...

I have attached a route I did by myself 2 years ago. The dirt roads started from the Pienaars rivier offramp and lasted until 30km away from Ellisras. I hardly commute and don't do very high speeds, highest speed I have done on it was 170. My fun starts on the dirt roads and it works very well for me on dirt. My E07 is still the first generation, maybe that plays a role. I run a TKC80 front and the combo works very well for me.

BMW's services are in most cases the same price as KTM's , so is owning a KTM really more expensive? No one likes a dead standard bike, so your 160 is quickly going to become 180 or 190, so I would much rather buy a 1or2 year old bike and get all the farkles with it. Saves you loads of money...
