I did the same on my last KLR. Doc KLR and welded up my own tool... Still have the tool but don't fancy doing the job again :P Leave it up to the professionals

Thanks! I gave Hilton a call. He says he would fit the single piece tensioner from the newer models onto my '05. Says the Eagle Mike is not really necessary as this one should suffice... A bit easier too as he has them in stock :D

I recently upgraded both brake lines to stainless steel, so am selling the originals. Perhaps someone has torn/broken theirs or is doing a restore and needs the OEM brake lines? Asking R250 plus postage from PMB.
