    It is actually really easy to connect the spots. I wired them directly to the battery of the bike along with a relay and a switch that is located just under the dash on the right had side of the sidecar.     Because a spoked BMW 1200 rear rim costs R 16 000 and a bike tyre to fit to it is another R 2 000. Not necessary or beneficial to the ride of the rig except perhaps aesthetically... however if one has the money and the additional cost of a 5 stud made-to-fit hub, I guess they can have it...

    Hee hee! There are many benefits and uses for owning and riding a sidecar, personally I use mine for riding 3 up with my girlfriend and German Shepherd on extended camping trips... Having said this though I must just tell you, riding solo with a rig attached to a bike as powerful as the BMW...

    Update III photo's - SA's own dualsport sidecar.

    Hi Skipskop... Yep, we're in the final stages of test riding our new 1200 GS sidecar kit consisting of a chassis, mounts, shocks, tyres and aluminium body. I will post on Wild Dogs as soon as we are ready for manufacture, should be within about two weeks as the jigs are presently being made up...
