    Hi all I was looking for some advice please. I dropped my 1190R and broke one of my hand guards. So as the topic goes what would be my options as the KTM ones are priced at R 1300.00. Is there better hand guards witch offers more protection? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

    I totally agree. This should be for KTM's account. To me it is stupid to rather replace a whole motor under warranty than to replace a R1000 air filter which they probably bought for R 700 in the first place!

    So I picked up my 1190 R today from RAD. Needles to say that I am a very very happy man!!! I spoke to Ian from rad and they are going to install a pre-filter system on the bike. He said they will receive stock shortly.

    At least RAD gave me the first two services for free. That is way better than a filter. Have you phoned rad and asked if they will sort it out for you? Their service is top class!!!

    Thanks a mil It was very informative and definitely learned a lot. I also realized now that it is not just buying a bike, climb on and go. Seems I need to do some more shopping and have someone have a look at the suspension before I go riding. Once again thanks a mil and the rabbit was very tasty.
