Two British friends want to come ride through South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Would it be better for them to ship their bikes here, do the ride and ship them back or would it be better to rent bikes over here? Does anybody know what it entails to ship a bike over here from the UK...

I'm planning on riding through Zim from Beit Bridge to Vic Falls via Bulawayo in May largely on the main roads. There are so many different opinions out there regarding the safety and hassle factor at road blocks.I'm starting to wonder whether it's a good idea. Has anybody ridden that way...
