I find it very interesting that you guys will bitch and moan about the price of this bike but when a 990 (same year model and 4-5 times the mileage comes up for the same price no one says nothing! Same goes for the 950SE. If someone asks R130K he is crazy but an HP 2 with the same mileage goes...

Nice ones at Umhlanga Honda garage. In fact there are 3 with around 6500 to 10 000km. I spoke to Baron O’hagon and his service was excellent. The distance was the only problem for me other wise I would have bought the 2017 tri color with 8000 km for R129 000!.

Hey guys. I am new to the 800GS and would like to know if there is a kit for the rear brake master cylinder. I have no rear brakes at this stage and BMW stealer is saying that there is no kit available and I have to buy a new one for R2000. Any help would be appreciated....

That is exactly it. 50/50. It is a balance between the two worlds which is far apart. It is not great at either......... Otherwise you would have gad a hard core nobly or slick road tire.  I am happy with mine off road I am not so happy on road and very cautious when its wet.

Nope its the tire. I have had 4 of them now. The first 2 was very good the third fell apart and the 4th was wobbly under harsh braking for the first 1500km the second 1500km was good and now the last part (no very much left though) has no grip on dry. None of them were ever good in wet...
