Is it possible to raise the ride height of an 1190 S, I come from a raised 990 S and the 1190 feels very low. I'm 1.91m (6'4") tall.

My '08 990 ignition key switch is playing up, occasionally there is no power when switching on although a bit of jiggling gets it working again.  Quote for a new one is R1468 (no stock) but comes with a new key different to the tank and seat keys, so would it be worth trying to repair the switch?
