The helmet was looking pretty tatty and scuffed from putting it in and out of the top box over the years so it needed a refresh and I don't have the cash for a new one. You know what they say, a change is as good as a holiday.

Rooi you biscuit! I loosened it up again and the noise is gone. Pretty sure the chain is too loose now though, but I'm going to turn the screws half a revolution each day over the next few days till I get the right tension/noise balance.

Yoh - That's 256km roughly (assuming you used all 16l) Or R0.88 per km (R14 per litre) Or at 160kmph that's R2.35 per minute.  ;D Still....better than a car.
