I hope yuoz are right cos I just got one.. I already snapped the whole subframe off in two places whiles motocrossing it through baviaans. I probably shouldn't have been riding like that with a dumbass topbox on though. I never had that kak with my not so cool transalp though and I did 30000km...

that's really wierd. why would anybody want rattly discs?? I just fixed mine on my 990 and wow! I can hear my motor again and not just an embarrassing tambarine noise. does anybody perhaps have or know of somebody stripping an adventure cos I'm desperately looking for rear foot peg mountings...
