This bike is practically as good as what one can find still. It’s in beautiful condition, and has been meticulously maintained.

I have a brand new SW Motrech sidestand, for a 2007 640 Adv, that I can drop off at the shop on Thursday. I bought it, installed it, then decided to remove it again. I haven’t even ridden with it installed. R1200.00

Is the side-stand available?

Hi All, I’m busy waiting to hear from VDS, Albertinia Vervoer, and Milly’s for quotes to get my bind transported from Springs (JHB), down to Stilbaai. Does anyone have any experience with these service providers, and/or any recommendations?

335 lbs / 152 kg WET weight. Thats light. Very light.

My 690’s clutch burnt out at 350 kms in the clock.. was climbing rocks up a hill though. No warranty fix at all by KTM. The 690/701 clutch is a softy.

Thx for posting this! I've been waiting two years for this bike... And now I'm not sure if I like what I see. It looks a bit wide around the engine area. May just be the pics. Let's see when the production model pics come out.

Hi Dogs, I'm riding from Stilbaai to Tokai tomorrow, and would like to route N2 - Baden Powell drive, then into Tokai. Is this road safe at about 08:00 - 09:00? Regards, Richard

Not sure if it's open again yet, but routing via Prince Albert, then over the Swartberg Pass is a real treat. I did it a year back in my Disco, towing a trailer with two bikes on.
