ahhh awesome stuff mine is powder coated though.... And to clean your engine? I used industrial degreaser but still quite mucky in some tight areas.

any tips on how you got the motor in without scratching the frame and motor? need to do the same to my kz650 soon. :sip:

haha to say the least I was fuming but mostly as I know its my own fault  :xxbah: honestly I have been putting the whole build off just because of the tank if I can find one ill jump right in. also we are moving into a house soon and I am planning on building a small lil garage for the bikes...

well my tank was perfect I did a acid bath to remove the rest of the paint and well I forgot it in the tank for two weeks :imaposer: well needless to say it came out in a few pieces haha

Well i have decided on a color scheme aswell as removed everything and cleaned her properly. Will post some pics up tonight ;D. Hoping i can get her done before marnits and them organise another CRoSA event

So i finally came accross a bike in good enough shape aswell as the right price :ricky: Its a 1981 kawasaki kz650 with papers and still on the road needs abit of love . Has a new cdi need to rewire it no clue what wires go where ??? But thats what all you fine gentlemen come in :biggrin...
