Ja that is something that boggles my mind. The one Dealer will go the "extra mile" and the other one not. ??? This is so relevant to these "small towns", Nobody knows nothing, you have to take your Bike to the more "bigger" Towns. Spares also, always needed to be ordered. These small Dealerships...

???Just returned from Eastview BMW Nelspruit Workshops.Just been informed that the Fuel strip needed replacement & that will be for my own account. With only 5300km done since new!!! (2008 model) Shame on you BMW! My answer was while everything is stripped, please replace it. "Sorry no stock"...

Yep, phoned Bavarian and ja, that seemed to be the answer. I just thought there was a easier way. it is only that  Yellow Triangle that is so annoying. :xxbah:

I filled (Unleaded) up My 08 GS Adventure (5300km) with the ignition off. After refuelling the Yellow Triangle came on and the Fuel gauge show empty.I disconnected the battery but the fuel gauge stay on empty even after I drove the bike for 50km. Any help will be appreciated please.
