My 800 is back on sale. 2009 F800GS Full Service History stamped in book etc. BMW Top Box. Clear Headlight Protector. Mileage: 81k Spare key. Known issue: left hand side heated grip not working. Sadly been mostly used as a daily commute with the odd ride out to Stellies etc.  R 45...

Ah sorry for not updating. It was the cam chain tensioner. Replaced it and the sound is gone. Now just just have to fix steering bearings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks guys seems it could be cam tensioner based on all above answers. IYO How serious is this? Can it wait for a service or is it a more pressing issue. 5k out from a service currently  :-\

Hey guys, Sorry if there is a thread somewhere about this. Wanting a cellphone holder for my 800. But not wanting to spend a lot of bucks. There are some nice options at our stores here but pricy. Also not wanting to wait 45-60 days from Aliexpress. Any local cheap options for this stuff...

Nice. I’m trying to keep the revs lower now and have already dropped to 4,5l/100 on today’s commute. A lot easier on the throttle and not needlessly accelerating. Still having fun though :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
