I’m keen to gear down a tad, from the stock 15/41 - but would prefer to change the rear sprocket rather than the countershaft sprocket. So, looking for a 44/45. Any idea who supplies these ( the local bike shop  here in  Makhanda had no joy from his supplier) ? Thanks

Are they all much of a muchness? Or do you guys have strong recommendations...? (I’m ready to move on after 50 years of using a toothbrush and assorted solvents to clean my bikes .... :biggrin:)

I realized the other day that mine had broken ... and had probably been that way for a few thousand kilometers - without incident - mostly gravel travel. So, do I actually need to replace it all? And if so, what’s the best aftermarket option?
