Hey Justin. The Bandit 400 is a Gk75a and def not Gk74a. Your Vin number will confirm this though. Not sure if they have the same Cdi though.Are u sure it's the Cdi unit. What problem are u having with the bike?

Default bike setting for preload as per the manual is turn the knob counter clockwise all the way for rider with weight of 85kg.
