Where can I get a switch that will go on the handlebar to switch on the spotlights? I tried Partman, Midas, Mica, but all they have is toggle swithes. I treid the bike shops, but all they have is kill-switches.

Thinking of removing the plastic rear mudguard, but think I must then probably cover the chain with some kind of guard. Where to find? :lamer:

I just noticed that the rear tire is fitted the wrong way round. I.e. the direction indicator on the tire is pointing the wrong way. Metzeler Tourance. Would there be a reason for this?

Can I connect the charger to the pin under the tank (+) and then any metal part or must I remove everthing and connect straight to the battery?

How important is it to align the rear wheel 100%? I changed the sprocket and chain on the 650 and adjusted the chain tension. This is now where you look at the ‘numbers’ and make sure the wheel is aligned. Now, the one number is just in the window and the one on the other side by about a mm...

My HID has stopped working. I think it is after I washed the bike, but can not be certain. Where do I look for the problem? Bulb? Fuse? It does make a small flash, but then does not start. The bulb looks ok. ???

I got a Power Commander II from a friend. Comes off a BMW 650. Can I plug this into the 1200 GS or must I take it to someone to 'tune'? Also, can I then throw the Throttle Modulator Thingy in the dustbin where it belongs?

Is there a way of removing the side panels without removing the upper crash bars? It is a bit of a mission to remove the bars first.
