    The Africa twin CRF1000L corner

Lekker 4 day "kop skoon maak" trip : Strand - Outdshoorn - Die Hel Gamkaskloof - Montague - Strand. Day 1 - this was the planned route, but I don't play so lekker in mud (lots of rain), so we sticked to tar Strand N2, Celedon, Bredasdorp. Mostly gravel Malgas > Riverdale > Herbertsdale >...

    Tubeless DIY conversion

    Honda NC 750 brakes

Got about 30k on the first (original) set of pads on my NC. Currently sitting on 52k, will be able to get at least another 5k - SBS. About 70 - 80% of the km's in traffic, commuting. Not getting at least 15k - riding style or really crap pads. Or maybe the disc needs to be skimmed.

    NC700/750 front tire options?

My previous set was MT60's. They look good, good handling but expensive and get very little km's. I only got 6K on the rear and about 8k on the front. Currently have Mitas E07 rear and Michelin Sirac front. Also had to lift the front mudguard. About 16K's on this set. Works for me, on and offroad.

Tyres: More off road - dirt road based tyres for NC750X?

Sump guard & crash bars all directly from RockFox, not sure if FlyingBrick stock it. Had to remove the plastic guard.

Tyres: More off road - dirt road based tyres for NC750X?

Tyres I currently have on my NC: Front Sirac 120/90/17 - Mud guard raised by 30mm, also dropped the forks 5mm to get bit more clearance between the tyre and bash plate. Back Mitas E07 150/90/17

Almost forgot the effect of earplugs...

My 2c worth, been using the silicone earplugs for swimmers from Dischem for quite some time. Almost never ride without earplugs. Tried different types but these seems to work the best for me. They are soft, will not get lost and seal well. Cuts out most noise, especially wind, but not so much...

    In Da Nc700 house

That increase might be a bit to optimistic. On my bike, between the Yoshimura box and de-CAT there is a noticeable increase in performance but nothing mind blowing. Friend of mine noticed that he got 2km\l more after de-CAT. He still have OEM box and rides long distances. I also changed the...
