Very nice!

Finally the motor is complete and together. Kyle from The Workshop helped me out with putting it together. Just like every other component on my build so far, this one did not want to go together easily!

New emblems designed, cut and fitted to tank.

For the Fuel taps I will be using 2 x 1/4" Compressor fittings. Idea is that reserve feeds from a lower level than the main fuel tap. New handles bent and cut.

Laser-cutting received

Old Petcock hole cut out and filled

Trimmed, tacked and welded into place... bottom also trimmed to fit the frame..

Made a small curved panel at the back

Attended Barry Ashmolls Sheet metal class, would recommend it to everyone on this forum! Opened the tank up to the some of the dents out.

Moving on to the tank.. Found a nice little tank at the CMC, think it is off a Yamaha FS1.

Good point, trying to keep as much of the factory casted parts on the frame as possible.

Forgot to take pics of the friction plates, friction plates is that big round white circle between the rocker arms and girder. Idea behind the friction plates is to slow down the movement of the front fork in other words to offer some sort of dampening. The earlier friction plates was made out...

New rocker arms laser cut out of 8mm SS, 11mm holes drilled on the one side, and tapped with M10 thread on the other side. I have attached a picture to explain

New M10 threads cut onto Spindles(M12 Bolts)

I found Starter bushed that fitted into the trees and girder. 4 x M12 bolts were machined down to 11mm to fit snug inside the bushes

The bottom tree needed to be extended, so we made Bronze bushes.
