Thanks NickTheGreek  , Will try and check all the points between the tank and the carb again , like DJLSteenkamp  mentioned we did check this before , but don't know if we missed anything , maybe similar to your issue , but i am suspecting the fuel tap switch. at the moment.

Ok so about the above mentioned rust... Do you guys have any short/mid term solutions, until i can gather myself to spend the money on a long range tank. Do you guys think this could get into my petrol and cause issues? Durban is a bitch really :( Thanks for everyones input  :pot: Wiat ^_^

Shoe baie mooi DR wat jy daar het, Basies hoe ek myne ook wil hê. Sommer baie jaloers nou haha. Waar het jy meeste van jou parte gekoop? Laat my weet as jy iets wil verkoop , jy sien hoe kaal my DR nog is :(

Dankie Martin. Sal maar sien , ek mag dalk die kliener , goedkooper Mods maar aanpak hier en daar en dan sal ek die groter duurder goed los tot ek daai KMs afgelê het soos jy sê. Ek dink ek moet dalk net die Bash plate en crash bars kry voordat ek myself gaan haat vir `n val wat my bike dalk...

Not completely the same , but i found my Suzuki DR650 2009 model in much better condition than a 2010 Model , just because the owner only did commuting and lite riding , prety sure its case by case , KM's and years does not always tell the full tail , if the guy with the older model used it...

OK , so im new to this whole adventure biking thing. As a matter of  fact , I don't even have my learners (have car license) . x) But I have always wanted a cruiser to go with these lekker old ballies with the big beards cruising to Margate every Sunday  :) So , i jumped into the deep end...
