Hi there, I am 1.59m (so am quite short) and seem to manage my BMW g650gs Sertao with no real issues. I did have to have it lowered though, but the bike itself doesn't seem to be too heavy for me. Really great bike though!!

Very true, special lives in the horsebox. will keep my eyes open and see if there are any good deals currently. will definitely keep you in mind if any repairs need to be done.  :)

I am quite a shorty, and put a modified "dog bone" onto the rear suspension. I can now comfortably touch the ground. if that is you friends issue with their bike. :)
