Thanks for the heads-up. Ive been zooming into the google earth satelite view and it does look ok, but obviously you cannot see bad downhills on it. You dont perhaps have the coordinates of the downhills?

I see tomtom does not rate it as a big dirtroad and want to know if it will not be too ruff for heavy bikes. i am not as experienced...

Wow, dit lyk kwaai lekker. Jyt nie dalk die roete op gps opgeneem nie. Sal graag wil sien presies hoe jy gery het. Hoe het jy gemaak dat jou linker pannier sak nie brand teen die uitlaatpyp nie. Ekt kappa sakke en wil dit ook graag saam my bike gebruik maar het gedink ek sal een of ander plaat...

Other problems ... crack in right front plastic. Not serious. Plastics has got 127000 kms on it so not completely like new. Left passenger footrest to be replaced. Right mirror glued. haha

battery gone and needs work on gearbox. New clutchcable recently replaced. Engine sounds good, but gearbox neads work I dont know if only clutch kit or a bearing . clutch kit is R2500 from Bavarian in pta.

Front fork seals replaced recently. Seat recovered. Back shock serviced.

Hi almal, Ek bly in Pretoria en gaan 18 of 19 Mei die C28 tussen Windhoek en Swakopmund ry. Ek ry al lank bike maar ek dink nie eks in die desert-run klas nie. Ek ry wel grondpaaie met my bike, maar ek sien nie kans vir baie ver sand nie. Kan ek maar daardie pad ry met my bike. Nog 'n vraag...
