Ja, the main oil screen had some VERY minor bits in it. This bike did eat its clutch prior to the last oil change, and the get me home (off a horrid pass in Free State) involved duct taping clutch plates to increase thickness...it worked. New clutch did come with new oil and filter but its not...

@ Cracker...this behavior had me perplexed but I the only version I can thing, is that exactly that, the residual pressure held it in. The only other thing I did was take out the front cyl cam chain tensioner to see if I had a brain fart and installed it wrong, which wasnt the case.
