    Worked like a charm. The only potential problem on longer journeys is the fact that the footpeg mountings actually started wearing into the strap. So a piece of cloth would probably cure that. Note to anyone who wants this trailer, it is pretty damn good. Although you will not be able to fit...

    Cool, thx for the input. The yellow circles are actually to show the hooks in the green strap (Kinda hidden) But i'll put cloth at the top too just to be safe.

    Ok, how does this look gents? The red is where I will tie the wheels down to avoid any movement. And the yellow is where I need a cloth to protect the forks from being scratched.

    Not far. just under 2 hour drive. I was thinking that too, just take it off. Havent checked how easy/difficult it would be but that really is the best option. If it were not for the second bike I would ride for sure.

    Once its on the trailer and tied down I'll take some pics. Then monday i'll let you know if it worked. Going to compress the forks as little as possible. And tie the back wheel to the deck just to be sure.

    Thx, I have a fork saver, but the Xcountry mud guard sits right on the wheel. So that wont work.

    Gonna take my bike on a trialer this weekend. Where would be best place to tie it down? Have never done this before so any tips would be much appreciated.
