KTM 690 Enduro R....tell me more

Have a patient mechanic because the fuel pump issue is real. Otherwise it is a blast to ride and makes other 650 thumpers look boring. Did I forget the wooden board KTM calls a seat.

    Yamaha T7 stolen

Drill a hole into the plastic box and press the open button that is inside with a stick. Centurion motors are anything but safe

Converting foreign drivers license to SA license - advice needed.

I have gotten out of so many traffic fines when giving the police my foreign license, not planning to swap it any time soon.

Is Tesla Autopilot Killing Motorcycle Riders?

Years ago when ABS was test-introduced by Mercedes they faced an unexpected consequence: the number of accidents went up instead of down. They were testing ABS with metered taxi drivers in Germany because traditionally they drive Mercs and having very high mileage which would provide lots of...

Canals at Harties and Brits…tell me more

Its ok but not technical at all, couple sandy spots. Gets interesting after it rains as it becomes very slippery. The entrance a little bit after the Damdoryn intersection is probably the better one. Kudos for Beestekraal, great breakfast.

    Yamaha Tenere does Erzberg

Great rider, great bike but completely overpriced.

    Erzberg 2022

Redbull TV needs to decide if they want to remain the propaganda arm of a soft drink or actually become an extreme sports channel. The way they ignored Graham Jarvis because he gets sponsored by another drink manufacturer was embarrassing to say the least, not just that he did an amazing run...

    THEFT DETERRENT IDEA

After having had the pleasure of uninvited guests in my garage behind an electric fence, heavy locked gates and a motion alarm I decided to up the ante a bit. Each garage gate has 3 padlocks inside on top of the normal lock meaning you cannot crowbar the gate open anymore. The only way to access...

    BMW G450X: How Good?

I think the height is a major issue because in city traffic you have a lot of stop'n go. No idea how tall rossdog is but I would check the seat position out before committing.

    BMW G450X: How Good?

    1. Reliability: fine, no major issues that i did not cause myself 2. Parts: used to be quite good but BMW has stopped stocking parts, had an issue with the brakes and it had to be adapted from another brand 3. Suspension: hard, btw the bike is very tall and dropping it seems not possible. You...

Looking for a Ben10 Weapon - R20k-R30k shortlist below (found one, sorted!)

As an owner of a GS650 I can say it is ok on tar or dirt roads but if you are going to take it off-road then you will struggle if off-road really means rocks.

    Xt600e stolen Pretoria

Let me get this straight, you had a lock on the rotor and they still carried your bike out of the garage. Did they even try to cut the rotor?

Prices are getting out of hand now

Not sure if I would trust UB Leisure to have the correct clock reading, they don't really check their stock in detail.

    Quad bike ban.

Funny, there are 4 countries I would not want to emigrate to: AUS, NZ, GB and CAN. All four of them have nanny government hellbent on controlling their citizen. You are correct saying that the safety levels in all 4 of them are better than SA but this has very little to do with the government...

First time bike shopping for newbie

I recently bought a 690 at UB Leisure, they obviously want to push volume but they were friendly and the bike is exactly what they said it was. No complaint.

First time bike shopping for newbie

I would go for a slightly bigger engine, you want to keep up with traffic and the average speed on country roads is between 100-120 kmh. Otherwise cars are going to pass him continuously and some of them really come very, very close. I gave my son my gs650 because it can easily cruise at 120kmh...
