    Net n update. Het toe darem die parte gekry wat ek so gesoek het. Carl Davies gaan my crank weer aanmekaar press en oplign. Het noual 7 keer van anderkant Uitenhage gery PE toe en glo ek gaan nog n paar keer die trippie moet doen. Voor suspension ,nuwe tyre,steering head bearings,wheel bearings...

    Was laasweek by Yamaha Extreme in PE. Eerste keer n T7 in lewende lywe gesien en langs die bike gestaan. Pragtige masjien maar ek was teleurgesteld. Al wat deur my kop gegaan het was dit is n vet bike.

    Back to square one again. Davies let me know they could not get the conrod kit from their supplier. I tried to get the big end bearing at least from bearing man but they only had one in that size 2mm wider which wont work Fuckup and very frustrating. Done 5 trips to PE already :-(

    think I am sorted now with the engine spares. Just the ignition coil on the magneto . The guy Roger who does the rewinding not answering his phone etc. Still need chain and sprockets and a full knobbly front tyre but will worry about that later

    Kon net gasket kit kry vir die head/barrel. Het piston kit bestel maar is maar n leap of faith. Mens weet nie watse kwaliteit jy kry nie. Ek het nagmerries oor die crank weer aanmekaar pressfit en te balance. Gaan n bastard wees dalk nie doenbaar vir my nie maar gaan probeer. Ek sal kyk wat die...

    Just pottering around town between 40 and 70 km/h. Filled up my bike (CT190 ) today and my fuel consumption is 46.5km per liter. 8 liter on 372 km. Unbelievable to me. I know at 90 km/h riding long distance I get around 36 to 37 km per liter with the little bike carrying 130 kg

    Mine still 6v. I see no reason to convert my plaasbike to 12v. I am 64 years old and never needed or paid a mechanic a cent in my life. Should be fairly easy to convert to 12v myself dieseldawie should I wish to do it. Thankyou

    Ek gaan die avontuurtjie aanpak en self my big end bearing vervang. Crank split etc Hier is n 20 ton press, verskeie draaibanke wat ek sal gebruik om die twee helftes van die crank weer mooi op te line met dial indicators ens Sal n paar pics hier pos as ek dit doen dat die ander ouens kan sien...
