When I first got my 690, she reminded me of the orange cones at Country Trax, hence the name 'kegel'/'kegeltjie'. Since I changed the engine mapping setting after the run-in period, and have truly discovered what a hooligan machine it is, my bike's name has changed to 'Knersis'  >:D

Wow - you guys really had an eventful day ! Geez Usurper - glad you didn't get hurt dude. My 'fail' happened really early in the day. Thanks to everyone who helped with running repairs. Bike doesn't seem to be too bad - foot has a small metatarsal fracture, virtually undisplaced - no treatment...
