I'm busy rebuilding a '84 KE100, and cannot get the spark going. Replaced plug, HT lead, coil. Seems no current coming from the magneto. If I measure the resistance between the LT wire and eath, I can see the points open and close as I crank the engine, but no current. What to do next?

I dropped my bike in my driveway, and found this broken M6 x 30mm bolt under the bike when I picked it up. Problem is: I can't find a place on the bike it should fit. Does anybody recognise it? It's driving me nuts not knowing were it goes.
