    KTM 640 bag

I tossed it out last October as I had to clean up my junk before I emigrated. I have a contact who can make a bag to your design and spec. He is in Centurion.

Are there still newbies who'd like to be taken out on rides? PTA edition

I would say 75% to 80% gravel / dirt. I like this map above, the tar sections are marked as black, the red / blue sections are gravel.

Are there still newbies who'd like to be taken out on rides? PTA edition

I would be looking to go over breedtsnek first then to hit the canals on the way back.

    Highest mileage KTM 690 / Husky 701

Lyndon Poskitt has over 200 000 km on his 690 rally. I put 50 000 km on my first 690, regular maintenance and I had the rocker arms done at 35 k km, other than that, no issues. I have seen one or two with over 100 000 km.

    2 Up on 890

My wife finds that being a pillion on the 790 is better than being a pillion on a Africa Twin. She found that on the AT she was more scrunched up and the exhaust footpeg kept throwing her foot off. but the seat on the AT was more comfortable and she found more comfortable on the road doing...

Are there still newbies who'd like to be taken out on rides? PTA edition

I try to stay clear of any low water bridge crossing the Jukskei. When you can see particles of human matter floating by, it is a no go.... I shall add in the additional section of the route which comes from Lanseria to the map and then the other side of the canals. It makes about a 500km day...

    Rear Tyre options

if you get a wobble round 100 to 120 km/h, pressure is to hard. reduce pressure until wobble disappears.

    Rear Tyre options

Motoz - they may be expensive, but they last longer, have bigger / better lugs than the others. Grip for days and are pretty predictable. Only reason my 790 does not have on at the moment is because they where not available in country when I ripped the sidewall of the karoo 3's, which in my...

    KTM Adventure 790 R - accessories?

I had a bit of a say on this, definitely not wrong. It is how you get competition in the marketplace, otherwise you end up with one guy who makes a product and can charge what he wants to. Fully support Ian where I can! Local is lekker!
