No warning whatsoever. It started up perfectly, did 40 KM as we neared a T-junction it just died, nothing. I did open the old pump; the bushes/brushes were worn down to the extent that there was no contact any more.

Installed an new fuel pump and wolla fires right up. When it died it was sudden without warning and I could not hear the fuel pump prime when the ignition was switched on. This led me to the fuel pump as the primary problem. Thanks for all the advice and feed back.

Hi On Sunday my Piggy suddenly died on the side of the road. Was doing about 80kmph when all of a sudden all power was lost. The engine would not run. No mechanical problems, there seem to be no fuel supply to the engine. If I let it stand for a few min it starts up for about 3 sec but dies...
