We may be jumping the gun here, looks like a new style fork leg & there are no known failures in the new style sliders The pic is intriguing though and I would have a dealer check it just to be on the safe side

Having taken the fall myself and knowing what I do now, much of it not public, I would not be riding the machine with hairline cracks in the fork leg around the axle mount
