Took the Strom to the Buffalo Rally this weekend; the trip included about 120km Klein Karoo dirt road.
Riding the Strom always makes me smile...
There were so many Stroms at the Rally, at least 3 times more than an couple of years ago.
I guess "the secret" is finally out! ;D
Replaced my front sprocket today (also chain and rear sprocket) and when replacing the plastic cover, broke off one bolt (the bottom one).
Now you must know: I am SUPER strong, but even for me to break that bolt off using one hand and an 8mm socket attached to a screw-driver type handle is a bit...
No, these were made up before I had the sketch. cost was about R650 and did a lot of work myself. The water-jet cutting was expensive (only one set made, more would have been cheaper per set, I'm sure).
@Pom: me, wash a bike? :nono:
and it has to sleeps where it has to sleeps
(next to my e-type Jaguar...!)
;D
Stand was made from "enginering plastic" its light and durable.
Bought from Maizeys.
My desktop cnc engraver/mini-mill loves the stuff!
