    Bought a Montana 650 for my KTM 640 and will use it on the BM as well, so I thought it would be good to get something like an Etrex 30 as a backup rather. I'll miss the phone function and MP3 player but the Montana and Etrex are better suited to the type of riding I am doing of late. Thanks.

    Hey Leo nice report. I remember it being sooo flat around 61 that we had 1:50 000 maps with a single contour on the grid. I used to gives the guns a bearing and elevation to shoot on just to work out where I was. Fortunately not where the rounds landed!

    Who wants some 1200 Tit bling in their toolbox

    Hey Welsh I would be keen on one. Welded up a nut to a 3/8 socket - not pretty but it works. The largest flat spanner in the Adventures tool box is a 17mm to adjust the wing mirror lock nuts. I carry a 3/8 socket / torx combo in my extended kit...and by the way it doesn't come with a plug spanner.
